Thanks folks!

...so I'm not sure if I really like the models, or just what you did with them.

Out of curiosity; what is it that you don not like, the sculpt? My choice of colors?
cheers and keep on gaming, Agis - http://www.adpublishing.de

Nothing to add really. Expertly painted models all around, and a number of neat ideas on the models themselves. So, just hats off! :-*

Like others, my particular favourite so far is Bubo. A mythological R2D2, an ingenious and surprisingly fitting concept by Harryhausen (or his scriptwriter). Very nice reference here. :)

I have only seen wargod models "in the lead" a few times, and on a number of them the anatomy kind of looked off, which has always stuck with me for some reason. (even tough they do make a lot of nice models) I see no trace of that in your work here, so I wondered if that was because its not there, or you manage to compensate superbly with painting. In short, no critique here.

Ahh, I get it. Fitz has a unique and recognizable style of sculpting.
Some love it (like me) some don't, we had a good discussion about it here on the Helen of Troy thread...

For me its more hit and miss, all the monsters for instance I like. And some of the humanoids are fine, and then a few just stick out for some reason.

Two more Automatons, Two Hoplite Automatons. Again gorgeous miniatures that came with separate heads and choice of armament, either a spear or sword.

And a test of colours on the 1st Amazon. I wanted a coherent look with Hekate.

Very nice....I'm still regretting not buying a complete Amazon army from this kickstarter....that boy can sculpt no doubt!

Cheers,

Are the Automaton Hoplites larger than a human?  Seems a shame not to paint them as human heroes.

More or less the same as humans.  :)
But why a shame to paint them as Automatons?  ???
They have mechanical elbow and knee joints and some more mechanical details here and there.
And human heroes are in abundance in Olympus...

Beautiful work, I particularly like the way you painted the scale armor on the amazon.

I was soo angry that this kickstarter was on during a period of unemployment, so I was unable to get the Amazons... :?

Beautiful work as usual, Agis.
