I really like your mandrelys and lockes.

Your dornish are great but I wouldn't be able to pass up doing the tunics in the house colours.

Very nice, I'm soon gonna be starting a similar project for Westeros just using the Perry plastics, so this is nice to see.

Are the bases you are using the ones that come with the Perry boxes, the green 20x20 ones? I'm debating myself whether to use them or Games Workshop bases.

Also, where are your Manderly bodies with scale armour from?

Thanks for the comments.

On the House Manderly soldiers, scale armour is from the Fireforge Sergeant sprue.

The bases are Mantic Games.

Lots of interesting less-represented (on here in miniature) houses here, good stuff!  :)

I like the scaly theme of the Manderlys in general; they look like the wealthy half southern culture they seem to be in the books.

Thanks Elgis, I was going for a fish scales armour look. Something different from the War of the Roses armour on the Southern houses but still wealthy and well equipped.

I recently painted these Northmen light cavalry / outriders . I always imagined that the northern armies used a higher proportion of lighter cavalry what with the difficult terrain, long distances and really cold weather. Certainly the horses of the Southron knights suffer badly during Stannis Baratheon's march on Winterfell.

I also painted these Mantic Zombies as Wights.

Nice horsemen and wights!

I agree to an extent- but more in the sense that southern cavalry would be more late 14th/ 15th men at arms for the most part, with  northern cavalry being a bit lighter and with more light cavalry, but still somewhat heavy- after all, they do win some of the early battles with shock so they can't be that light to my mind.

That said, I think there is a part where Robb asks how many knights there are in the Northern army, only to be told that there is no real difference between his knights and other noble cavalry- more of a 'southern mindset/ ideal of honour' type comment than anything, but still....
