I love the terrain. Very original and nicely executed. Especially the dungheap and the charcoal kilns

I knocked out this house. This was sort of an experiment. As I am still playing around with my airbrush and finding out how to use it. This literally took only 10 minutes to do. It is done entirely with airbrush and it sort of feels a bit like cheating. It still need a bit of finishing but I think the result is passable for the tabletop. The house itself is a resin one from Gripping Beast.

I think it looks ok. A light drybrush to pick out some details would probably work wonders.

I gave it a bit of a drybrush and hung the shield of the owner over the door. He is currently away on a business trip (burning down northern England). So only the wife and kids are home to tend the fields.

Sorry for the double post.
But I have also finished this Runestone. I carved it myself out of a piece of styrene. On one side there is a mask, slightly inspired by "sjellebrostenen" and on the other side there is a band of runes. I used the elder Futhark alphabet to write "Frede gjorde disse kumler". It is modern Danish and means something like "Frede carved these runes". it is a quite normal start of a runestone inscription. I should then go on to describe why the runes were carved but I felt I ran out of place. I decided not to go full nerd and write it in old norse..

Would you buy it if I passed this guy of as a Carolingian warrior? He is a Fireforge body with a dark age warrior head and a round shield. Does he look to "modern" or to fantasy?

The scales should be what made him Carolingian. They are perhaps a bit to big but it was what I had to hand.

I am a bit hesitant to buy more GB metals as I think the Vikings that I bought are somewhat below par. With their lumpy hands.

Paint those GB metals! They look less than perfect in the metal, but damn! They paint up well!
