Copplestone Castings
« on: April 11, 2015, 06:59:29 PM »
Hello
First i have to say that im a big fan of CC and never experienced any problems.
Im collecting pulp minis now for 3 years but im wondering why there are so few new releases....?
Statusque is doing a great job!
Bob Murch is very busy and there are some new releases.
But why are there no new CC minis...?
Just wondering....

I think he's pretty much given up / retired.
He seemed to have a new lease of life with his 15mm fantasy range a couple of years ago, but even those seem to have dried up now.
I have heard, however, that he may be sculpting some figures for the new Osprey / Northstar 'Frostgrave' rules / game system... But maybe that's just a rumour.

Oh yes. In fact, I've just seen it here: http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=77432.0;topicseen
::)

Well, looks like he's doing the occasional one off, and he certainly doesn't seem to have lost his touch.

But (apart from releasing the occasional resin tank or armoured car) I don't think he's added any new 28mm figures to any of his own Copplestone Castings ranges for, what, at least 5 years?

Pity. He's still one of the very best there is.

Amen bruvver Blood, I'll be gutted if he has retired.  :'(
Well I've lead an evil life, so they say, but I'll outrun the Devil on judgement day.

Would be a real pitty...but was also my thought...
I know he is not so young anymore...does someone know how old he is....
But the wizard shows he s still one of the best 8)
Maybe we have to force him out of retirment  lol

I would pay a LOT of money for a plain Copplestone heads pack.
