He looks great.  Too bad I won't make it across the pond for Salute.   I will be anxiously awaiting your range!

Totally different style than the sort of halflings I'm doing, but I love it anyway. Excellent work and very tempting.

Thank you guys - find me at Salute and I am happy to give you one.  :)

I was trying to stay away from the Landsknecht look 1. because others have done it (in your case very well) and 2. Because I simply prefer the rough late medieval style with Eisenhut, Schaller usw.

Cheers :--)

It's a great model, and I see you tried to stay away from the 4th Edition Warhammer Landskecht style, but at the same time made something that could have been released by GW at the time.
I would have bought these without a doubt. One point though, I feel the crossbow is a tad to big for the Halfling to work. My advice is, keep the design but make it sizewise about 70% of the current one, that way it will still stand out, but he actually would be able to shoot it too  ;).

Yes, this is a big crossbow!

But the figure is fantastic, and I´m very interested in it (I´m thinking now about a band of Halflings for "Frostgrave"...  lol ).

I expect to catch one of them in SALUTE, so I expect to see you there!

Cheers!

Thanks again! Glad to see you guys appreciate the mini we did mostly to nail down the style.  :)

You got a point there but I think it would be a rather small Crossbow for Humans. That and it really looks fine on the very small miniature, so I guess I'll stick with it.
