I'm 7 years old again.

Watched it far too many times already.
Thank God it's not just me. Thankfully Mrs Me is out tonight otherwise I'd be getting laughed at a fair bit, I suspect...

First born will be absolutely stoked to discover this tomorrow, though.

I'll admit it didn't give me goosebumps like the teaser, but I still think this will be an awesome movie.  What's the story with chrome'd out trooper with the red cape/sash?

I love the crashed SD - looked like a mountain at first.

I assumed it was some sort of Dark Trooper esque thing. but given that he (a) had a sash and (b) was in slo mo, he must be some sort of Big Bad Main Dude.

Really quite happy with it all too.  :)

The Dark Jedi's head dress looked a little odd to me, but hey I can live with that!

Indeed, very nice, but did anyone else spot that the engine the Falcon flew down was on an upside down crashed Executor class Super Star Destroyer?  Multiple crashed ships from both sides, it must have been a hell of a battle!!  :o :o

I got a chill and goosebumps all over.  What a great trailer!!!

I loved the cameo of Vader's helmet and of Han and Chewie.  I know some people will complain but to me that's a fantastic tie-in.  I liked seeing Leonard Nemoy in the most recent Star Trek movies, by the same producer.

I like the chase through the debris with the Falcon being chased by the TIE fighter.  Again, trying to tie-in the old with the new.

The actress is gorgeous.  Holy God!

Not sure I like the new stormtroopers, their armor looks too simple, somehow.  Similarly, not took keen on the TIE fighters' white "wings".  I could get used to it, though.

Looks to me like there might have been some post-Imperial (whatever we call the Empire after Episode VI) operation and one of the Stormtroopers gets separated.  There was another trailer where a group of them get shot down, this guy could be a survivor.

Maybe he's living with some locals (Luke/Leah/Han's family), out of uniform, the locals get attacked by more post-Imperials, and Han/Leah's daughter (that shockingly gorgeous actress) befriends him... he joins the "good guys", Han and Chewie come out of retirement to fight the post-Imperials who are harassing the community, and so on.

That's much hunch, just based upon the trailers and some art on the internet.

Anyone have ideas?

I remember seeing Episode IV for the SECOND time for my birthday when I turned 5.  I'll take the 3 year old and the 8 year old.  I cannot wait!!!!!!!!!!

I'm quite happy that there appears to be a strong, heroic, leading woman who resembles my daughter.  This will be good for her.  I remember identifying with Luke when I was little because he looked like me.

I'm not so sure that's Han's kid, judging from the voiceover at the start, I think we can assume that that's Luke's son talking, as he mentions his father being strong in the force, I'm guessing that's Domnhall Gleeson's character, who we've not seen so far, and he mentions a sister, so is that Daisy Ridley's character?

And who is he talking to? I'm guessing John Boyega, although I'm not sure he's an imperial, that stormtrooper armour might just be a red herring, he could just be in disguise

The narration is just Luke.

Seems it's worked out neatly for Abrams that Mark Hamill became such a well-regarded voice actor.
