Well done Sir!
I have tried speed painting a few times; however, the results were always pretty bad.

Cheers guys !

With all this goodie two shoes I presneted you, I thought it would be time to have some real mean people...  >:D
My friend Diego Serrate (check out his Kickstarter to be released) helped me convert a Khorne Bloodthirster earlier and I painted it these last weeks. Nothing like a cooperative work with a talentied and firendly pal ! I just hope I did justice to his model.

I took the opportunity to field him amongst his friends and I am getting short on space to take photos now...
Anyway :

The guy is amazingly cool. You did an incredibe job out of the mini. The group shot, though crowded, looks fabulous, what a warband!

Cheers SUber !

After all this rage and bloodlust I thought I'd get Diego's excellent fishman painted. This will be a great appetizer before his Kickstarter launches !!!
I tend to paint models in groups to tie the whole warband together but for once I broke my usual way to do things.

Painting wise I went for quite an unusual method (for me) since I based most of the skin in GW Leadbelcher to add glazes and washes on top (to get that shiny feeling without using gloss)

It workd pretty well in the end though the photos won't show how the colour changes depending on orientation of light and eye :

I have a few more fishmen ready to accompany him before Diego Realeases another one ;)

You can read about the fishman's backstory, painting WIP shots and a couple more things on the Blog

Well thanks Mason, I think I'll want to reproduce that recipe on other models with other colours (probably could do a Space goldfish or something  lol )

Fantastic figures, superb painting! Great to see miniatures from back when Warhammer/RT was fun!

Cheers guys !
@Aliensurfer : the fishman is a model inspired by early Rogue trader models by sculptor Diego Serrate, he will be releasing a kickstarter very soon so You'll probably hear from him soon ;)

"Fishmen?" I see three 70s-vintage Trimote Warriors in that group I'll have you know, and that's the only thing fishy about 'em! lol
