Well I know the trimotes don't really fit at first glance but I'm pretty sure with their style and the proper paint job, they'll be just perfect amongst the others (I'll have to prove that statement with paint though)

Given my ability to cease any opportunity to make things fail... but I appreciate the kind words !

As a token of gratitude here's my take on Chico's (and Geoff's) dorfs  8)

I really like the possibility to make portray squats outcasts and rebels instead of just chaotic evil guys (though I do love chaotic evil guys a lot). I hope you'll parodn me their outrageous outfits but I had little choice here really ;)

While I was at it, I thought I'd show a picture of them along some other squats to give you an idea of how well they scale with others stunties.

More about them on the BLOG.

Good thinkis you can mix old and new to get just the right vibe you want. Haven't had a look at the Roleplay yet, What's it worth with the original Rogue trader book in mind?

The books are real beauties, but expensive. The Core Rulebook should be worth a look, for background and the awesome art, but I'm not sure it brings anything else if you don't want to play the RPG. For me, the Rogue Trader RPG got me excited about 40K again, but I'm going to kick it oldskool as well. 2nd Edition for me. :)

The RT roleplay really is about RT's their crews, ships, and adventures. Deathwatch RP is great for Space Marines, and I have a couple of the 2nd Edition Dark Heresy sourcebooks, but that game didn't grab me. You might be better off looking at the Fantasy Flight website to see if any of this interests you, first. :)

That one photo sums up everything I love about old school 40K.
Need a vehicle? Go make one out of trash and models parts. Jazz it up with some non-specific colorful markings and away you go.
Need some terrain? Grab a piece of felt, some lichen and some aquarium plants.
Will one tank and five guys be enough? Sure, why not.

I love your grav-attack. Toothy and mean and ready to party.
