Looking good, a nice subtle conversion.

Fantastic work!

I can almost Devo's "Whip it" playing as her entrance music😎

Bloody good and full of nostalgic goodness'

Thanks all, that's really nice to see how well thisband is welcome !
Now I'm digging the Slaanesh trench a little deeper with a greater demon this time. I've converted it with an alternative head from Knightmare miniature and a bio whip from Dark eldar bits et voilą !

Awesome.  That's a really slick conversion.  Nice job.  I've always liked that old model despite being a bit silly.  Your changes are perfect.

Tanks folks !

Now for a change of scale and topic, let me present you a good old plastic warlord titan ! I've never painted anything in this scale and thought I'd give it a go.
I have to say it's quite different from how I usually paint as some of my usual techniques wouldn't work on such a model but it was great fun and a good lesson so I'm eager to do this again !

Beautiful!

Its not a game or scale I ever got into, but if I'd seen anything looking like that back in the day it might well have swayed me.

"I'll just take a little break from work, maybe look at a forum section I don't normally go into..."

"oooh, I had that when I was younger, and that... and that..."

"just a little bit longer, this Asslessman has some lovely minis..."

"I've only gotten as far as page 35, it would be rude to stop now..."

you've managed to turn my 5 minute break from editing a cookbook into a three hour nostalgia fest, including visits to your blog, google image searches and more than a few hopeless searches on ebay.  Fantastic minis all round  :-*

Love the Warlord! Outstanding work as usual.

I'd highly recommend playing 2nd ed. Space Marine if you ever get the chance (using only the Armies/Warlords/Renegades expansions) - my favourite GW game by a long way. That iteration of the game goes downhill faster than the speed of light once Titan Legions shows up, but if you stick to the original armies it is great, great fun.

That wins the award of the nicest thing I've read in a while thanks !  :D

I've been advised to try that version indeed but I'm way too scared to actually like it and feel compelled to make an army. ^^

If that Titan is anything to go by, not making an army is criminal  :D
Love the paint scheme and the nostalgia.

I second this endorsement (although personally it's my second favourite GW behind Man O war) I played this so much as a teenager (Squats!), and then Titan Legions came along and unbalanced it all.
