From memory, the crusader figures are a bit shorter but otherwise of fairly compatible  dimensions. I should be able to post a  comparison picture later?

Footsore and Crusader are quite compatible, Crusader a bit stockier and - mostly- slightly smaller than Footsore.
The Gripping Beast Irish again fit in very well with Footsore.

Whilst the Irish 'dress code' apparently didn't change much over the centuries some of the packs aren't really suitable for a Dux Brittaniarium setting. The Fianna from Footsore and for example packs DAI007, DAO011 from Crusader are for a much later period.

Thanks WillieB, I am looking forward to getting stuck in to these but know next to nothing about the period except Bernard Cornwalls Arthur trilogy!

That would be great for me too as I'm doing Hastings at Salute next year and thinking of buying their Saxons to bulk up the forces.
