Perfect! Spot-on in Victorian's eyes. Exactly like the first (but wrong) reconstruction which placed the horny thum on the nose. At least the mould of the historical statue was large enough to serve as a banquet-room back in 1853.

These guys perhaps didn't know how to assemble a dino skeleton - but how to have a good time in style  ;)
Again: great model, congrats!

That's a great picture CollarSarge, we went to see the originals last weekend. I'm baffled as to how they got so many people  and a table and silver service waiters inside him, they must have been very small back in those days! :)

The Megalosaurus on the other hand would have no trouble at all fitting a dozen victorian scientists inside himself for dinner.
Great miniatures. This reminds us how our understanding is progressing. Dinosaurs as depicted today hardly have anything to do with the grey, dumb, clumsy beasts in the books of my childhood, and that was only 30 ago.
Sadly I missed the real thing when I was in London a couple of years ago (I got stuck in the Natural History and Science Museums for two solid days, which is an honourable excuse, I believe).
