I got my Kolony Militia guys (I'm using them as WWWII Russians) from the Warstore, might be cheaper to B.C.

I don't know what the Canadian Dollar is doing but ours sucks. Neal discounts everything 20% off retail, and usually does a flat fee shipping in the U.S. Maybe he can help you out?

Ok so not been able to progress on anything much currently as back is playing up but got my HLJ/Hobby Base stuff through yesterday, 24 Fireball prowlers and a gladiator:

(stock photo).

Looks good as is but too futuristic so I thought about the combination of alien/Ministry of Special Weapons Development technology and wanted a blend of alien and Riech.
So kinda took the idea of a puma/halftrack 'look' and blended it into the gladitor body:

Result (still very wip):

Plastic-carded the rear section, (extended by about 3 cm), various kit bits from my uber bits box, (huey chopper, russian jet (cheap Japanese kits) revelle armoured tank carriage, GW (sorry!) tamiya, dragon, Mcdonalds toys etc..).

Still to box the underneath in, refix the tanks. Also need to decide on lid up or down, if the lid's up I want one of those panzer mech pilots. pintle mounted MG42 to add and a bit more detailing before priming and extra panzerfaust to add to the current missile launcher as there are two spare slots.

Still don't know what to do at the join, currently (in my head) it's kinda like 'bendy bus' bellows but no joint (if you get me) may plate it over and smooth it into the main body but like that clash of technology.

Got my rule book through today too!

Hurah!  :)

Least it helped to weaponise the mech!  Lovely pictures too!

Wow, that thing is awesome, both the conversion and the base miniature.

Cheers...

Not much done as back killing me but finished the walker, just need to do a bit more sanding than final prime.

(Note:BAM tank commander with the Kroenen style WW head).

Hatch and crewman is swopable from closed to open with Tank ace.

Uber Soldat: (toying with them as my drop troopers).

All Warzone bodies and weapons with WW /Maximini Heads.

Auto/minigun ; counts as the heavier machine gun option.

Heavy flamethrower: (GW flamer conversion with weapon and arms, drilled and pinned. WW head).

That's five done, will GS the arms a little to bulk them out like the flamethrower, (added a grenade laucher to the ubersoldat on the far right first pic).

Only other things I've been working on are:

Hellboy-US Sentinel horn stubs GS'd around the pins, goatee and bigger side-burns added, joints all GS'd just tail to do now.

Robot from the pig iron miniatures range added to the US command squad (US helmet added/gasmask robotic head) act as a proxy medic (carrying equipment).

That's it from me.

Great stuff!!

As a little update I've also got another M3 halftrack and my Panther came through too!

Stock photo but will get the usual treatment, though not sure whether I'll repaint this in the same colours as my Tiger not sure.

Finally, dug out an E4M sniper who fits perfectly into the role of Airborne sniper for the Americans and using Heresy Miniatures Blight demons as my Gottendammerung lesser demons.

Finished hellboy, (coat back and tail, added a pouch, more sideburns etc...).
Added banners to my german mech weapons.
Sorted the joints on my blight demon (Gotterdammerung).
Sorted the joints on my US Sentinel (Capt A alike), fished holster and stock.
Finished the arms on the uber soldat and final sand and undercoat done.
Three NCO's with alternative heads, (GW,Pig Iron and MaxiMini) done, helmets cut from ww heads added to kit.

Zombie horde progressed:

uniforms done
webbing done
flesh/wash/highlight done.

Helmets, boots to tidy up,
hair and bomb packs (on the four that have them)
open mouths and teeth/eyes to pick out
detail work on the officer (fur lining and uniform details) and those with eagles/iron crosses then finished.

Could have sworn one moved!   :-\
