Now, who will be the first to put up Lion Rampant rules for using the bear? :)
I'm not a mercenary. Killing's more of a hobby for me.

I just love these two packs and I will certainly be ordering both immediately (done!)!!

The inclusion of the classic Swiss short sword does make me ponder the prospect of us seeing some metal packs similar to the earlier EA codes of EA 2, 3, 4, and EA 5 of Halberdiears/Pikemen or would the EA1 pack supercede them?

Darrell.

Definitely need these - great to see a new "Cyril the Bear" for the Bernese (apparently they DID take at least one bear on campaign in 1476!).
Useful figures - lots of hornblowers - would have liked a few more ostrich feathers, but they're easy to add.

Agree - fingers crossed for a few more - halbardiers, front-ranker pikes, crossbows and a canton command group perhaps?
Simon.

Exit, pursued by a bear.
A definitive set of Swiss characters. Lovely  :)

halberdiers

In very aggressive poses like some of the the one's Dave Andrews did for Foundry would be fantastic!

front-ranker pikes

I expect that  the EA Codes 2, 3, 4 and 5 could easily be converted with the swapping over of the side arm so one never knows.

crossbows

Yes!

....and a canton command group perhaps?

That would be really excellent and no doubt exceptional- it's is a really valid suggestion IMHO  8) 8) 8)

Darrell.

They are quite characterful but to be honest the sculpts are not technically amazing. I even went as far as to check on their website that these really are Perry sculpts .. and yes they are. I'm a bit surprised. I guess even the Perrys can have a day off.

Each to their own as they say but don't be surprised if you're in a small minority... to some of us on this forum these are a dream come true!  :-* :-* :-*

Mine are on their way. Just trying to visualize the vignette with the bear leading the cantonal standard!

An absolute must have! Still I agree with Duke Donald that from the picture some of them might not be their best work. Not necessarily bad but not their best work either. In particular the right three in the First set.
