FFoKF car chase playtest!

Yesterday evening we played the second serious test of the car chase rules and they held up pretty well. Bikes were too strong in ramming so I added a -2 modifier in vehicle combat for bikes vs cars. The Extras should use a lot of Free Moves to stay mobile or you will lose them fast. The chase confined itself to the table so we didn't get to find out how the "endless table" rule worked out in practice. Maybe next time smile-emoticon

As it was the Bikers raided the Chinese store to steal the Ancient statue, were intercepted by the Yakuza and the cops and a wild running shoot-out and chase ensued. The players obligingly pursued each other in cars and on bikes and shot, rammed and crashed to their hearts' content. They even blew up the gas station (prop activation indeed grin-emoticon ) and managed to crack the Ancient Statue in a car crash so the Dragon got out and ate the Oyabun.

Very enjoyable and many thanks to Eelco, Jos, Gerco and Ad for helping me test the FFOKF Vehicular Pursuit Rules!

Sounds like a fun game and that table looks fantastic.

I have not played AFoKf yet, but am eager to do so in the future.
I will have to check out your vehicle rules then.
 :D
