And I finished the bases for all of my Marro. They are ready to invade a planet! 







All in all - 33 aliens that were cheap, easy to touch-up with some washes/new bases and look great.

Now I just need some vehicles that can be used by them. Any sugestions? I'm looking for organic-like tanks; biomechs and stuff like that...

If these are the ones I know, I think they are too small for 28mm.

Nice use of the Heroscape figures, I'm a big fan of that game (it was my introduction to miniatures).   The washes really bring them up a level.

I was really impressed with the way the minis looked with just a few washes. It was a pity they cancelled the game :\

I still got lots of other figures to touch up. All those robots are going back into action, hehe

Here's my second alien force - a small groups of Hynemans, with their leader and one of their battlesuits:



I've imagined these guys as being a hi-tech fighting force, with lots of drones and battlesuits.

Tomorrow I'll try and take some more pictures of the leader. It's a frankenstein conversion - legs from an old Heroscape-like figure; torso from a Robogear driver; arms from a Heroclix figure and tentacles from a Brainiac Cli; head from a Tyranid. All glued together with green stuff, superglue and lots of pins.

Didn't take the pictures of the leader, but worked on the opposition for the aliens. I've got nearly 80 old Cadians to paint. That includes these 50 guys:



Plus a box full of lascannons teams, plus autocannons, bolters and missile teams.
