One Hour Wargames...
« on: May 25, 2015, 01:06:20 PM »
Anybody got Neil Thomas's Ancients and Napoleonic book? I'm thinking of giving both a whirl as I really enjoyed playing the couple of scenarios from 'One Hour Wargames'. I was wondering if the unit sizes and rule systems were broadly the same in all his books?

I only have the Napoleonic book. Infantry units are 16 figures, cavalry 12 and armies have 8 units total.
The rules are well thought out with sensible design decisions all the way through and I plan to base my big Napoleonic project on them.

I was hoping for that, I wanted a simple, and fun system that could manage a large battle without too much book keeping!
