Those Partizan freebies are wonderful. Great paint jobs. I have been collecting them since the early days. Some excellent sculpts in there - my fave being the damsel in distress as per the old classic B&W movies.

Rest are here for anyone interested...

I've recently finished a 'WIP' on pulping a Walrus seaplane,Which ended up introducing me to the Crimson Pig animated planes, which in turn led to a cereal packet card concept, and once painted led me on to staring the next project. Simply because I'd used a lot of red paint and the idea had been floating around in the dark recesses of my muddled mind  for some time, a Fire engine loosely based on a couple of real engines to flesh out the airport scenery I'm slowly working on for a pulp game and VBCW games.

Glad you like it,
These pictures aren't the best as I'm using my phone.
This is taking a little longer than I'd normally like to take as I'm only making this while I'm watching tv on an evening(working on your knee isn't quick.)

Thank you Karstien,
Just realised that I've not shortened the ladder mounts in picture(done now) I'm in the process of painting it before add the ladder still not set on which type of ladder though with wheels would fun but not sure if it'd be to much clutter on the smaller engine ,not that I'm after an authentic model rather a stylised Everyman ,so it may not matter,

Great stuff all round  8) 8)

Porco Rosso is tempting for a gaming background (happens to be one of my favorite Ghibli animations as well)  :)

James It's hard to imagine you being influenced by anything from that particular part of the globe lol
I'll have to take your word for it as my copy still hasn't arrived.

Here's a couple of pictures of the thing with paint on,It's not symmetrical but that's the joy of working off you knee and working free hand.
Mark.

No I simply can't believe it next you'll be telling me you've got a Japanese range ,and are busy building a piece of Tokyo to game on  :D
Joking aside thanks for the comments chaps I've still no idea which ladder would work best.If I'd time I'd mock up both then figure it out. The wheeled would be fun to build but would it be too much ??? I might just put the thing on hold and come back to once I've finished the train WiP.
