Chaugnar Faugn has always intrigued me and I find him one of the more disturbing deities in the Cthulhu mythos. This has been a project on my bench for about a year now and I feel that he is complete enough to reveal to the general public. Not completely finished painting this conversion but he is finished enough to play with the others.
I used the Bones Cthulhu figure and a head from a Macfarlane Spawn figure. Much of his spine and tail area was done with magic sculpt.
I want to use washes and glazes to get him to a sufficiently sickly grey green and then "weather" his face with a chalk white like I've seen in pictures of Indian and Nepalese Fakirs.
