Superb kitbashing  8)

Not a daft question at all, proved by the fact I had to really think before answering.  Following the logic of Fallout world science, where even food is edible after 200 years, I'm going to say it's picking up residual automatic distress signals, or other automated messages, indicating the presence of broadcast equipment worth salvaging.  ;) ;)

Makes sense. I'm not familiar with the Fallout universe so had to ask  :)
cheers

Another long bout of work induced hobby-celibacy, but I have finally finished off a few dwellings and some more random Junktown residents to populate them.

Remember these?
Just had this thread completely stuffed by those nice people at Photobucket!

Switched to Flickr and will try and upload the previous pics over time - gutted.

Anyway, on with the WIPs - a few more Junktown dwellings about to go under the spray can.

Well they are finally done

Idle guys and the workshop

Martha's little slice of heaven

Vault dude and Kiko.

Vault dude claims to be 200 years old and just showed up one day with his adopted daughter Kiko. Kiko doesn't say much and just pokes stuff with her stick. Vault dude is always nosing around and on his radio. Being the suspicious folks they are, most of Junktown think he's a spy and she is a Synth.

Penny

Penny works at the Scrapyard. She is short, tough and cuts stuff up. Sometimes it's scrap.

Walking dudes

They...er...walk around a lot

Lurkin' Tom

Tom doesn't walk around a lot. He mostly just appears, in dark corners.

And lastly as a nod to my WIP Lady Scrappers, a piece of valuable scrap, of the kind they spend their days searching for.

It is funny how the flower pots are the first to catch your eye!
Thanks for introducing us to your new guys and girls, they are all very characterful!
And your new bits of scrap...
