I actually had to do a double take when I scrolled down to see the first picture of the finished storage racks and home office; at first glance I thought I was looking at a real life picture you put up to show your inspiration...

Next to the stunning modeling and painting, I think it's the actual sunlight, casting sharp, dark shadows and showing the colours in all their (dusty) vividness really helped getting that illusion across.

Agreed, many of the photos look like the pictures of actual abandoned places. Pretty amazing.
a mixture of quick parts, sarcastic humour, reserve, and caprice.

Must keep my eye open for another SHADOW vehicle.
I 'fixed' one with some (bodged) tracks, then swapped it.
I like what you have done with yours. I never
even considered replacing the tracks with wheels.

Hi all,

Next project is done. 2 down, 4(ish) to go. The Bus Stop (because the bus has stopped ....sorry) is now complete so the whole back wall of the Hangar is now done. Pics below. Sadly, I lacked the beautiful sun of the last few weeks but the shots have come out OK. The wasteland explorer is still WIP but I'll revisit the whole 'Bike vs Explorer thing (pg 58/9) when it's done.  Pics...

Tears of envy admiration...

Especially at the shots with the roof on...  :-*

I can see now that the bus and the opening under it was supposed to go in front of that door in the back, so I think I can now agree that the Harley rubble pile is actually best there, because that does not close off the entrance completely.

This offers both a sneaky way in and hard cover, so from a playability point of view, this is preferable... :)

That's absolutely amazing. Really creative use of bits and pieces, and so well painted!

Quick WIP update. Fuel and oils area starting to take shape. Colours are blocked in and some decals added to create some visual noise. In fact, given that there are lots of primary colours here, it’s positively cacophonous right now. It’ll tone down a bit, but it’s meant to be a little full on. Washes, oils and weathering powders to go.
