Lovely stuff. But where's the rest of the Warhammer mech?

Oh he'll appear, piece by piece, in junk piles, as parts of water tanks and rusty machines. in fact his engine has just turned into a stand alone generator for one of the buildings. Gotta love robots as a source of wonderful bits.

It's not big, or clever, but let's do it anyway

Hey wanted to ask - where did you source the tracked vehicles?  I scratchbuilt a forklift sometime back, but have never tried to make a CAT because I had trouble finding ones that scaled anywhere near what I wanted, but these look pretty damn good.

Hey Sinewgrab
those little wheeled loaders look like they're from Siku in 1:50 - easy to find on E-bay, in UK at least - got one in front of me as I type

edit - of course, if I'd read your post properly I'd have seen that you were talking about the tracked vehicles, doh!

Yep, GDonk is right, the loaders are Siku. The others are 1/48th scale aircraft handling tractors with the wheels pulled off and tracks added (from Ork Wartrakks or Robogear). i just thought they looked a little tougher with tracks on.

The red plane is the remains of a matchbox Mega Rig. The white one is a Revell 1/48th Dakota

8) 8) that is going to look amazing with a bit of paint. I like your littered plane parts, they help give that megaton vibe.

Cheers

Finished my Auto Breakers now. Quite pleased with them. Pin-Ups

And in action.

I also did a few results of good scavenging.

Yesssss.  :-*

Just plain clever. Also very well executed. Adding all this to the inspiration file!

As simple as the strapping is, it's lifted everything to a whole new level. Well done.

Very cool, I admire you sticking with one theme for so long, it just keeps getting better and better.

Are those siku pallets? You did a great job on the wood texture if so!

OK, finished the next piece and really happy with it.

Mr J's house. The foreman of the Junktown Scrapyard crew inevitably lives in a certain rusty, ex-military style!

In case you were wondering what the poles are for on the roof, I am still toying with the idea of adding a canvas cover for the roof top to make it a kind of 'used-to-be-an-engine-in-here-but-now-its-a-balcony-with-sunshade' type thing.
