Just got this:

"Hi

2 new KKBB packs are now available:

KKBB108 KGB Men
KKBB109 Rogue Agents

http://www.copplestonecastings.co.uk/range.php?range=KKB

and there`s now a picture of very nicely painted (by Andrew Taylor of Ares Painting) Evil Geniuses - http://www.copplestonecastings.co.uk/images/kkbb107col.jpg

Coming soon - resin bank set (vault, cashiers´ desks and safety deposit boxes)for Future Wars.

Mark Copplestone"

This range is getting harder and harder to resist... but I MUST.... but the resin scenery could easily be used for Pulp and Retro Sci-Fi, I guess...   >:D

Dear Argonor thanks.
The solution is obvious, but the work is not. I just can't do anything!

OK, do you have some kind of disablement that hinders you in working with small parts (excuse me if I'm sounding blunt or indiscrete, I don't mean to, I'm just concerned, as I read somewhere that you do not paint anymore, either)? If you weren't living so far away, I'd happily do it for you if you just provided the minis needed... If you'll cover the postage, I could do it anyway? I could probably paint the guy to you specifications, too, if you wanted me to, before returning him and the spare bits... (and after that I'd probably have to go buy him twice myself to have a gloved as well as an ungloved version  ;)  )

Indeed, dear Argonor, 8 years ago I got a rheumatoid arthritis and still I cannot do elegant moves with my fingers, I also even abandoned handwriting! That is the reason I stopped painting. Converting is another story, never tried. [My son tries to persuade me to restart, just doing the undercoat etc, I don't know since I started postgraduate studies as well!]

The real problem is that we live far away, and the crisis affected my travels, on the other hand my daughter entered a far away University and so more expenses to cover her new rented home and expenses.
I have a friend who is professional miniature painter and modeller/diorama maker, but he is now very busy to set a diorama at the Athens War Museum [he promised to give photos for the LAF] and things are getting slow. The Mao project has to wait. My initial thought was to have a Mao for some BoB setting. For the time being I need to concentrate to my VSF and Balkan wars armies!

EDIT: since this post really would not make since without the image I thought I'd use this space for something educational.

Quiz 1: Who wrote the following:

Quote

Quiz 2: What the hell does it mean, because I'm buggered if I know.

1: Gerard Keller (1829-1899). [Dutch author?]

2: I was rather wild and was brought up with absolutely no idea of the civilized world. His words were a revelation for me, which for the first time were vague and indeterminate, but I think gradually became clearer.
I was at school, but not longer than one month, and during that time I had no book in my hands nor ever read or wrote, I think we had learned nothing about anything.
