Dear honorable Sirs of the LAF,

for a 28mm japanese-fantasy setting I'm trying to find miniatures of foxes. Realistic foxes as well as humanoid ones. Any help in finding miniatures or manufacturers would be appreciated.

Sincerely yours,
doc. puppetmeet

I think I have seen some fox headed humanoids on the Newboldworld site

for foxes (real ones) try; mega minis and irregular miniatures. I think also that the little lead soldiers have a couple in their sports ranges.

Reaper does a nice fox in one of their familiar packs.

When one of my players played a fox type spirit folk a few years back I was able to do a head swap with the Reaper familiar and a 25mm geisha from the old Ral Partha Bushido line
.

This one's part of the limited-run minis produced for last year's Frothers sculpting competition. We'll have him available for sale in the New Year.

Iron claw (through Excelsior) used to make an antropomorphic fox figure that was very nice. Seems the range was never picked up when they went belly up though. :'(

Awwwww, so cute -

I like those red pandas, a bit too big scale-wise when compared to the others though!

I really like that one, geronimo!

These are the (oop) Iron Claw ones I was talking about, one male, one female:

Very nice models, closer to true 25mm (smallish) but more western middle ages than oriental.

I wish I had gotten the rest of the range (other animals) when there was still time. :'(

I may have both of those tucked away in my little mountain of lead.

If you also have the rest of the range (and not doing anything with them), I'm interested. ;)

I've used Crocodile Game's jackals from the Aegyptus range. They are a bit large but that is probably a good thing in this context.

I'm pretty sure I just have two of those minis.  One of them is the Fox mage with the sword.  I'm not sure what the other one is though.  They must be in my Clan War pile somewhere.
