Scratchbuilt British 4.5 inch Howitzer 1/56 scale

Platsticard, Styrene rod and tubing, and a bit of brass wire, glue, a pair of GWM wheels, swearing and a blokish desire to "have a go". No fine detail such as rivets and a bit of artistic license here and there:

I wouldn't even know where to start with something like this - I once tried to cut a couple of track guards for a 10mm tank - the first one was OK the second (even using the first as a template) was nothing like the same.

So to have the patience and skill to make and assemble this many parts, I commend you!

Nice little build,riveted sides get lost when you use a disruptive pattern anyway ,artistic license is what turns a model into a functional gaming item,not a scale photo copy.
As I said nice build,railway gun next then?

Nothing wrong with the wheels you've done,They look industrial and give a great feel of wieght and power.Glad the tutorial worked for some one ( I was going to add a pick with the lead boiler version in for scale but it would have been mistaken for a dig at theirs by some people)look forward to seeing it painted,I'll be posting a tank tutorial next month,on the same budget.
