As you can see I have based these (on 25mm) and none are fixed to the plinth so I can swap the statues depending in the scenario:

A couple of things I have ideas for already are a Dwarf Enchanter .... and a Vampire statue.

Here you go:

The beauty of this set up is if I ever need a specific statue for a scenario then I am all sorted for the plinth.... couldm't be easier to do more statues.

Fantastic statues Harry. I've got the same plinths lined up for the same idea. I like the fact you can swap out the statues on yours, I'll be nicking that idea and good shout using reaper bones as statues.

Look forward to seeing your take on them.
Yup. I got into the Reaper Kickstarters so picked these up for peanuts. So don't feel too bad turning them to stone.
There is also something about the soft plastic that seems to make them work well as carved rock, :D

More win! And a good idea for a use for the bones figures I had no use for until now. Where are the plints from?

They are GW's Minies of Moria Boxed set scenery pieces...so possibly not that easy to find?

Here they are together and here they are dotted around the city ... extra things to hide behind so as not to get shot. :D

I sold all my LotR stuff in one big cheap ebay lot a few months ago prior to a house move.

Kicking myself for not hanging onto the scenery.

So next I had a bit of a look at the table.
Now I want the games/scenarios which are set underground to have a slightly different feel to them.... a bit darker ... a bit more sinister. So I have split my table into two halves. I know I need a lot more terrain .... but this is what I am starting with.

I imagine a set up where the players can literally choose to enter the mountain and then reappear on the other side of the table having passed through one of the entrances modelled on to this piece. I will need to do a bit of work to the back of the mountain to show the interior and make all the doors and caves lead somewhere on the other side .... But that is the plan.

Here are some shots of the underdark ... with the statues ....so this would be all set for the night in the museum scenario:

great stuff...don't forget wedding cake pillars very cheap and paint up nice.
Barbarella: What's that screaming? A good many dramatic situations begin with screaming...

Those statues are really lovely, and really useful if playing The Hunt for the Golem!

Harry, your terrain is inspirational! Love it. Also love the underdark board. I really want to make something similar, for games set inside the huge ruins themselves.

Great looking statues mate. The underground area is very cool as well, reminds me of the Mines of Moria!
