Rules Question

Is there any mechanic for balancing games between wizards of different levels? Either in game or in terms of experience earned. I've had a look through the rulebook but can't see anything.

Also, how many players will Thaw of the Lich Lord be suitable for?

There is no inbuilt balance system.  It's left up to the players to either accept a slightly un-even fight or introduce their own.

There was some discussion about it during the nickstarter I think. In theory, smart play can overcome level difference, since the warbands will be similar sizes and only the wizards actually 'improve'. If a new player joins an established campaign, then he can just start with a higher level wizard and a bit more gold.
