Behold...the Stink-eye Tribe!
« on: August 06, 2015, 05:56:01 AM »

These figures sat on my desk so long I decided to call them the "Stink-eyes," for the impatient glare they were giving me!

Check out my Lead Legionaries blog for discussion of the Stink-eye Tribe, an entirely fictional group of miniatures (well, the miniatures exist...just not the tribal name!) that sat on my desk forever. I discuss motivation, the effect of lesser quality miniatures on that topic, and some experiments I tried.

For more pics and lame attempts at witticism, see my blog:
http://leadlegionaries.blogspot.com/2015/08/can-i-call-them-stink-eye-tribe.html

Enjoy (or not, at your leisure)...! lol

Mike,
To make you feel better about your Indians,
I had some Indian Mutiny figures from Foundry, set around for over 26 years.
That is from the time I started painting them to finishing them.
If they were real they could have had kids and grand kids.
(If there were any little metal women around.) :D
God, don't you love it when you finish a project. lol

 lol lol lol

Okay, that does indeed make me feel better about the Stink-eyes! Who knows? That may be a record! I know I can't touch it.

School is kicking my butt right now and cutting into my painting time even more. I like the new crop of 7th graders, though. So, I foresee a less stressful year than last year (hopefully). So much I want to do...sigh  :'(
