Chapter One:  The Aerian Hills Uprising
Lt. Malcom Crewe of the Royal Martian Constabulary has been assigned to Fort Zandernoof in the Aerian Hills.  His job:  To keep the peace on a troubled and dangerous frontier with a garrison that is understrengthed and of questionable morale.  Keeping the peace is not easy.  Dr. Everett Lawson of the Royal Society has returned from another of his expeditions in tribal lands.  Saddle bags are filled with Martian antiquities.   Dr. Lawson believes he is furthering science and the  understanding of ancient Martian cultures.  To the hill tribes Lawson has defiled the Temple of H'ronmeer and is a thief.  Ursamann the tribal shaman calls for holy war and the hill tribes respond.  They call for blood!! They call for vengeance.

Throughout the valley farmsteads hear the war chants.  Farmhands scramble to take up arms and fall back to Fort Zandernoof.  Lt. Crewe also hears the chanting and has the garrison stand too.  The men of the Royal Martian Constabulary prepare for battle.

You can be sure Sir Randall will be taking notes; I feel the sweet sense of doom.  lol

I must say I like the packing corners straight 'out of the box'. What you using them for? Simple stone artifacts, or strange tents?

I think they could go either way, and I'm now wishing I hadn't thrown so many in the recycle bin. They need to be seen in numbers.

Thanks guys.  I think this is going to be a lot of fun.  I have divided the battle into different parts.  The result of the last battle will influence the next part of the battle.  Yes I am using the cardboard packing corners as tents.  I think they look the part for the hill tribes.

The first part of the battle will be this weekend.  As the hill tribes advance across the small stream Dr. Lawson must do two things:  One; Warn the three farmsteads of the impending attack and Two; Escape off the table in order to bring up the relief column.  The warned farmhands will make for Fort Zandernoof and prepare for a siege by the hill tribes.  It they make it too the fort.  The tribesmen are just behind Dr. Lawson.

Part two will be the siege of Fort Zandernoof. With or without farmhands aiding in the defense of the fort.

Part three will be the arrival of the relief column from Parhoon.

Part four....?

Yes it is a bit bulky.  It is only 4 pieces.  It is however surprisingly light.
