7TV second ed. playtest cast!
« on: 08 August 2015, 05:29:06 PM »
A new member at our club has kindly offered a foray into 7TV, I've had my eyes on the game/ minis for some time now, but hadn't invested in it because I simply had no interested participants earlier.

We have decided to give the 2nd ed. a whirl and I have created a Heroic cast, named 'The Welsh Connection', fluff comes below.

Rhys and Griffith Jones are brothers, their dad died in WWII and Dyllis their mother did her best to bring them up right and proper. It wasn't always easy, for they always managed to get into trouble and coming from a strong mining community they were not adverse to let their fists do most of their talking. So they earned a reputation in the community as 'proper hard' boys. They also sang in the community choir and were mostly considered good lads despite their pugilistic skills.

RHYS: Is the older brother and having the responsibility as the Man of the household he never strayed very far from Llamhock, he joined the force as soon as he was old enough to and earned his stripes on the beat. He managed to make his way up through the ranks of the department and is now the DCI. He still lives with his elderly mother and twice a week his melodic baritone can be heard in the village choir.

His mere presence on the scene can make the most hardened criminal wet his pants, for he has a well earned reputation for ALWAYS getting his man.

GRIFFITH: The younger and more restless Jones brother. Although Rhys had hoped he would join the force as well, Griffith signed up for the army instead. He served with the SAS and caught the eye of a governmental organisation, that trained him further. Griffith is not the kind of spy that you will catch with some sissy drink in a hand and a carnation in the buttonhole, chatting up an enemy agent for some routine banter. No, he's rather more the guy you call in when things need to be blown up excessively or when 'dirty hands' are needed. You can be sure that there will be a car exploding in his scenes and some well choreographed kung fu fighting will take place. Griffith is not known for his subtlety.

There are also Prunella Whittaker-Stokes, Rhys detective colleague and Griffiths handpicked unit, Tom, Dee, Kay and Harriet, a hard hitting para military unit.

PRUNELLA 'Prue' WHITTAKER-STOKES: Originally from South London, she is signifying something new in policing, the Female Detective. She upset some of her colleagues with her success and has been sent to the Welsh backwaters as a punishment for that. Prue is very much up to date with all the latest advancements and technological gizmos in modern policing and is sometimes at odds with Rhys who has some more traditional methods, but she can't deny that he does get results.

TOM, DEE, KAY and HARRIET: This crack squad is hand picked by Griffith for their propensity for violence.

The crack team Tom, Dee, Kay and Harriet ready for action.

Griffith, Rhys and Prue standing by for reading their lines.
The most important thing in the hobby is that you're having FUN! Doesn't matter if you win or lose.

Thanks mate, really impressed with the casting quality. Almost zero flash and all very nice and crisp, was told by a guy with 'inside knowledge' that if it was a poor cast, they would chuck it back and recast it so top notch quality control.
