Brilliant thread.

I tried watching the old He-Man comics with my son. His only comment was that they must have been on drugs while making them. That means a lot I think comming from a child who can watch Adventure time, Uncle Grandpa and Gumball with a straight face.

Hordak and his minions could easily be done with space marines.

Now all you need to do is add in a way of doing the cheesy morality message at the end of the game for that true '80s cartoon feeling...  lol

No kidding. Just today I read, due to this very thread, a few pages on the MOTUS wiki and the entry for Stinkor had a funny anecdote: When the character was described, including his dubious "super-power", during a meeting of the cartoon story writers, they all burst out in laughter because he was regarded as a (quote) "walking fart joke", and they vowed to never make him appear in any of the episodes.  lol

My wife would like a word with you, and by word, I mean 'beat with stick'.  ;)

Hell yeah - I nominate Kev of Hasslefree.  He would give us a Teela to be proud of, and an Evil-lyn to feel guilty over.

My first thought was how the heck did the designers sneak him past the rather backwards 80's mindset that was the order of the day.

Then I thought, really considering the entire he-man concept must have been pitched like
"Its a range of men who are super muscled wearing various leather harnesses and pants like speedos......but made of fur!"
they were already so far down the rabbit hole that Fisto never even got a second glance.

Considering his fist, are you sure that it it was down a rabbit hole, and not up a different hole?

This thread has strayed far too much off course, I'd say!  lol

Back to seeing miniatures, I demand it!

I am looking for the following Deadlands minis:  Shotgun Thug, Lost Soul, Cleaners, Railroad Workers & Feral Dead. If you have any of these minis, or if you are one, please send me a PM.

In the movie, he also had generic stormtrooper-style faceless, armoured soldiers.

They didn't feature in the cartoon or toy series, but one of the printed media had "Skelcons" or "Skelacons" as minions:
