@Argonor

That bear is just great, isnt it? I saw that mini somewhere online and panicked when I found out it was from a Reaper range and out of production.
But I found it in some dusty, dubious online store that seemed likt it hadnt been updated since the year 2000 :D

Maybe you get lucky too... just have a look!

Well, I'll rummage around a bit without setting my hopes too high, then. Thanks!
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!

BTW, who spotted the theme in my army? It is quite obvious :D

And also: How about a bit of a "request programme"?

Troglodytes & Goblins will be the next two factions for AFS.

But what would you guys like to see after them? Are there wishes, ideas?

Fanmade and completely free fantasy rules for SAGA:

Lovely warband, really like the mix of figures, nice earthy palette too. Not sure of the theme - hairy?

Yes, sort of. It is "fur". There is not a single model in that warband that does not have any fur on it.

And when choosing the miniatures I also made sure they had no chainmail on them... I thought the only kind of armour they had should be leather or just really rough looking metal plates.

Well, and the huge amount of naked skin also ties them together, obviously.

How are your Dwarves doing? Work going alright? I wanna see a 10 points Dwarves warband by the end of the summer! :D Your little stumps are just too pretty!

I would have requested Feudal Fantasy Knights, but then I realized that the Normans, Ordo Milites and Crusader lists cover that excellently.
Actually, with all the regular Saga warbands and the ones you have made, you can probably make pretty much anything.

Which is pretty damn neat  :D

The rules are great! I plan to use them with the kids I work with so will be assembling warbands from the miniatures I already have. Can't wait for the gobbo list - I have been working on a model that may just be the ticket for its leader!

Nice work on the goblin throne!

Not sure on new warbands. I couldn't believe my luck when the first four boards were released as they exactly matched my minis collection. Four fully painted armies I could use again! So I never really needed anything else. I do also have some orcs and goblins, again pretty much covered by the sound of things. My mates have dark elves, empire and beastmen, not sure if they would be of interest to your group?

Have you considered making Lord of the Rings boards? Potentially already covered I guess by others, though nobody has produced anything as accomplished as your efforts. A low fantasy version of elves, dwarves, orcs, Rohan, Gondor, etc. Not sure there's much mileage in the idea to be honest.

Looks fun, will have to try this out.
One thing though, the readability of your website needs some work.
Black on dark brown makes it difficult to make out the text.

Thx, guys!
Let me go through these things point by point...

I start with you, Hedwerx: Yes, your are right. Of course. But the website is a temporary thing anyway.
Soon there will be a "proper" page, with pictures of our miniatures (mine, and the other guys stuff)...
also smaller files, the "web versions" of our PDFs. Up until now there are only the High-Rez-Print-Versions on there.

Then over to you, Nord!
Yes, I will cover Lord Of The Rings. Also Game Of Thrones.
Right after Im done with AFS, which might be as early as March 2017.
I think Im gonna call them "Saga Of The Rings" and "Saga Of Thrones".
SOTR and SOT :D

And next is mcfonz! Great to hear this!
And great, great, greeeaaat Goblin Chief! :D
Actually pretty perfect to represent the Goblin warlord we created...

Lets go into the "races" that are available at this point:

Undead
Dwarves
Wild Tribes
Elves
Nocturnelves
Orcs
Archaeans

Next will be Troglodytes, in a couple of days!
Next one after them will be the Goblins!

Factions still to come:

The Empire (Fantasy-Romans, if you will... but perfect to field any kind of really heavy infantry and/or cavalry... so, Im looking at you...affun! :D)
The Satyroi (Beastmen, based on Satyrs to stay with our "mythological Antiquity" theme)

One other faction I wont talk about, it is a surprise... no one expects them, but they are awesome.

And in addition to those three maybe a Demon-faction.Would call them "Shades Of Hades", I guess. Basically a ghostly army of creatures from the underworld...
And maybe a sort-of-Persian faction... and maybe an ogre-like faction...and maybe a "Lizardmen" faction...

We hit the ground running... and crouching, and crawling...

From the chasms below the stench of death rises...
Those who enter, never return...

The Troglodytes are here!

Really love the ideas, and also the fursome army. Lovely painting. Out of interest, where is the troll miniature from?

@pelonas
That is a model from Reaper... pretty old, I think. And I think they label it as "ogre".

@Argonor

Whatever you like!

A lot of people will probably use their Skaven...

I use GW Hobbit plastic goblins for the "Wretches", the plastic soldiers for Frostgrave mixed with parts from GW ghouls for the "Defilers"...
Reaper models for the "Critters"... and my "Lurkers" are a mix of bulky ghoulish looking types from different manufacturers...
Oh, and a troll from Heresy as my "Cave Troll"! :D
