Rules system for Ghost hunting based theme?

Any ideas guys?

I own Strange Aeons, it function well. but i want too know if there is a system which have more advanced rules for ghost hunting, or a system just worth taking a look at for a Ghost theme.

Crooked Dice makes Ghostbusters figures (Paranormal Exterminators).  They may have ideas about a related game.

GDW actually made an official Ghostbusters RPG back in 1986, one of the authors even  was Sandy Petersen.

Maybe you can get it somewhere :)

Bazinga! You just triggered a long term memory.  Back in the 80's I use to buy most of my war games & RPGs from a catalogue.  I remember almost ordering the Ghostbusters RPG.  Wish that I had.  In fact, while I'm at it, I wish I'd ordered five!  Sadly I didn't.

I also remember they had a Ninja Turtles RPG back when the turtles were only known to comic readers (before they went big with the cartoon & movie).

^The TMNT RPG was by Palladium, though ;)

Today, I think those old games primarily hold nostalgic value; movie-based P&P games in particular hold very little background information that is not available on fan wikis etc., and the rules are what you would expect from a mid-80s game :D

I think there was an expansion to fear and faith from Ganesha games called ghost hunters. It's pretty much exactly ghostbusters.

"Ghost Rangers" from Ganesha Games. You need "Fear and Faith" to play, but both products in PDF will only set you back ~15USD.
from Mr.Vampire: "It's the paintjob that makes the miniature fight harder not the size."

Actually how is that ganesha expansion, I love the idea of all their work, the execution not always as much.

I found my copy of both Fear and Faith and Ghost Hunters. If you're looking to recreate scenes from the GB movies or cartoons, it's worth checking out. As PDFs, they'll cost you almost nothing.

I quite like the earlier Song of Blades- based rules for their simplicity. They work great for new players to learn, and there's enough there for your average tabletop gamer. The more recent incarnations add more complexity without adding much fun (I'm looking at you Fistful of Kung Fu).
