Handy Rivets!!!

I've posted this here, even though it's a part of my Mad Max thread - http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=78694.msg963235 - to share a handy source for rivets which are quite cheap...

There's these circular flat ones...



square ones (green) with holes which look like nuts, circular with holes (purple) which look like washers and circular domed (white) which look like rivets or domed nut heads.


They're all Nail Decorations, widely available and very cheap, I found good and reduced prices in Hobbycraft and packets in poundstores.  On these 20mm models they're a touch large but for 28mm I reckon they're perfect and definately easier than most other techniques.

Yep, I use them pretty much exclusively these days. You can buy them in very cheap bulk amounts on eBay. I also use a faceted hemisphere one.

Well the square one was new to me

I put up a build a while back that used bright pink half pearls as they were the cheapest I could find
