Many thanks comrades.

The gun/arms are from GW's Neophytes box. I glued on a magazine to liven it up a bit.

Cadian body, Empire Greatsword legs, sword and head.

AWu - the head is from a plastic empire kit, the hair and beard already on it.  :)

The hair and beard started off white.
Then I dab some dark red and orange for the roots of the hair.
Next ink or wash the hair dark brown/sepia.
Then drybrush light grey.
Then ink with Valejo Game Ink Amarillo Yellow.
Then drybrush white.

The yellow ink is so much easier than using yellow paint.

I'm with AWu, hair is well done - as is the colour matching on the figure (not to mention the conversion).

Agree - lovely story telling. Where are all the pieces of the conversion from?

The Inquisitor is all GW, Astra Militarum body, Neophyte legs. The other parts I'm not sure, got them in bits off ebay, marine arm and plasma pistol and marine lightning claw I assume, the cloak and head are from an Empire kit I think but no idea which one.
