Amazing brushwork and thanks for sharing.

Have you tried DH 2nd edition? If so, what do you think??

Please keep sharing :)
Mac

Thanks guys !  Not had a chance to play 2nd ed. 1st Ed seems fine to me, no one in the group has mentioned on a move to 2nd. Read some mixed reviews on 2nd ed. We're 20 sessions into the campaign so getting plenty of mileage out of 1st !

More minis !! Trix is the one of the player characters, mini bought by the player, team sniper, took out an Eldar Vyper jet bike once.
Turned out a bit darker than I wanted maybe but looks suitably moody, don't mess with Trix...

Junker mit Zweihander, kinda Future Wars right ? It's a power sword, definitely a power sword.

Love the face on the swordswoman, maybe some techno doodad or detail on the belt or sword hilt would place her in the sci fi universe. Really though, she's great as she is.

Ordo Hereticus Inquisitorial cell 'Dolorosa' led by blue skinned power sword wielding Interrogator Teomachia Dax.

Dig it.

I lack the words to do this thread and it's collection of superb minis justice! Beautifully painted and a fantastic diversity of models. Just about sums up what 40K/Dark Heresy/the inquisition is all about - fantastic work! As a bit of an Inquisitionfile this is just the sort of stuff I love to see.

Brilliant.

Many thanks for your comments Legionnaire Bert ! Most encouraging.

The attraction of 40k is it's open template I think, Rogue Trader era for me especially, where diverse elements can be explored whilst still being used part of a whole. Plus I can then use the minis in other games too without them looking too out of place.

I do really like the muted palette on these. Also agree with you about the diversity of the 40k world: heaps to explore as you build characters and teams.

Nice. There's some really neat stuff in this thread.

I really like the inquisitor and retinue, and the very 'gritty' look of your style.

There's quite a few minis in here that I've been looking at buying for a long time: Always nice to see them painted.

Those eldar look great: the gloss finish works really nicely with them.
