WK's 80's Action Pulp miniatures project (update 08/02)
« on: September 03, 2015, 07:49:59 PM »
These figures were commissioned for my personal collection as 80's style fictional fascist footsoldiers or evil mastermind minions. I will post some pictures of my first painted set in a couple days when the light's better, but here's what the sculpts look like:

Command and specialist set, with two officers, a medic and two rocketlaunchers:

Fascist footsoldiers with rifles:

Fascist footsoldiers with AK47's:

For those who might be interested, here is a picture of the greens for the body dollies:

Pretty cool. Your Going To Have To Show a scale photo or two with those guys.
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

I'm assuming the officer is facing away from the enemy as the favored command of Cobra is "RETREAT!!!" I like them, haha. Who was the sculptor?

The heads are actually separate from the bodies so can be turned whatever way you want. ;)

Identity of the sculptor withheld to protect the lives of his family.

I like them very much. So two questions come in my mind. Is it possible to see a picture how they compare to empress miniatures and is it possible to order them?

I will see about some size comparisons, though I don't have any Empress miniatures handy.

Can we expect to see some casts of a "Commander" available in the future at all?

Regarding those Shapeways vehicles, I will be using some of them, but also some other sources and do a bike option in resin or metal.

My painting is rusty, haven't had much chance to do anything for some time, but here's the first set in a random evil looking colour... ;)

Another (different) set almost done. A few touchups to the heads and bayonets and adding a chest logo are left to do:
