Derby Worlds this weekend coming
« on: October 01, 2015, 04:14:07 PM »
I will be there with the Fastplay IHMN games (including some shiny new Games and Gears street boards!).

Anybody going or demo'ing...

I can attest and affirm that Tehet and his crew run a fast, furious and fun set of games. Well worth dropping by for half an hour of your busy day  :D

I wish I could go! As a side note is anyone running any IHMN events at Battleground/smoggycon in Middlesborough this year? The Brompton Gamers put on a great show last year.
Thanks

Smoggycon is back eh!

Unfortunately a bit late for me this year but something to look at for 2016. The next event we'll be taking the IHMN game to is Hereward down Peterborough way on Nov 1st...

Here are some photos of the Derby set up, we experimented with 2 x 4 boards and created two environs, a part of ol' London town (using the new Games and Gears boards) and a Lost World (based on the TV series).

The guy in the photo is our man Nigel, strong enough to lift a vending machine so very useful when shifting the boxes of buildings and paraphernalia we use at shows!

The buildings are from the former PMC range  now sold by Caliver Books with the odd donation from 4ground and a dolls house shop. Lamp posts are Westwind (I believe).

Yeah its called Battleground now so it sounds less like a convention for smoggys  :D. The table looks great, really atmospheric, be great to see you at it in 2016 as its the only convention I ever really manage to attend sadly.
Thanks
