Fair enough and actually thinking on it, I've played so much Borderlands 2 that I should know future guns can come in bright and cheerful colours.  :D

I do feel you on the topic of getting over-enthusiastic as I'm guilty as charged myself though my painting pace is nowhere close to yours!
I've no knowledge of the Dredd rules but your assessment of Pulp Alley does match mine, and I believe the Leagues supplement even provides
(extra) advice on how to use them for various different settings including sci-fi

I really have no idea what I'm doing.

I should have been working in my yard this weekend, but I didn't.

Working in the yard is for squids
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.

2019 Painting Challenge :
figures bought: 500+
figures painted: 57
9 vehicles painted
4 terrain pieces scratchbuilt

FionaWhite, I'll have to explore the Leagues book.  I just picked it up.
I find I have loads of enthusiasm, but I don't always follow up on it.  This time I am going to keep going!

vodkafan, Squids?

I have been enjoying painting non-combatants, lately.

I really like those two!
a mixture of quick parts, sarcastic humour, reserve, and caprice.

These are small, but there aren't many models like this out there.

Long time since I last checked on your progress, great to see you still at it! Have you set a certain limit to yourself with the amount of minis needed or you just keep on collecting and painting? Have you done any terrain lately?

Hola, pocoloco!

There is no end in sight!

I have a significant pile of unpainted lead and I can't stop buying more (I just ordered the Solar Studios civilians)...
There is so much possibility in Dredd's world that this will be going on for me for years to come.
Project scale creep has become an issue, I think.  But there is no turning back.

I did buy some foamcore to start on terrain.  I am thinking a plaza to start, or a run down residential section (inspired by the 2012 movie and Kowloon).  A plaza would offer some multiple levels and room for vehicles...
There is a wide world of craziness to explore.

Thanks for checking back.  If you have any advice, I'd love to hear it.

This and Cthulhu Wars keep me busy.

Every time I'm about to start a new project, I open the drawers and see what already awaits...
