Great variety you have going, they appear to work well together. I've toyed around with the 'moving terrain' idea as well, sort of a panicked crowd rather than potentially distasteful individual casualties.
a mixture of quick parts, sarcastic humour, reserve, and caprice.

When I consider the role civilians in these games, I always think of the scene in Blade Runner when he was chasing Zhora through a crowd.

They get in the way, they obscure line of sight, one can hide amongst them, they will run away when someone starts shooting or they will cluster around people that are hitting each other.

I took some time to paint, I miss it but real life has gotten in the way for me.

I don't produce the best looking stuff, but I'm embarrassed to even put this one here.  One day I will repaint her.

I should have been working in my yard this weekend, but I didn't.

I painted this one up as a thank you gift for a Dredd fan that did me a favor.

This is a lot of stuff... I particularly like the judge with a chaingun.
I'm a bit curious though, any special reason the trenchcoat girl's guns are blue? It does give them a somewhat toy-ish look,
although maybe her plan is to make people think they're not real.  :D

I really have no idea what I'm doing.

Thanks.

I've seen lots of pictures of painted guns on line and thought that this could be something people in the future might do more of.
It's meant to be characterful and have them stand out as a sci-fantasy setting, rather than always have black/camo/bare metal.  I don't do this for the judges, as they have standardized equipment and are a professional organization, nor for miniatures that have crossover potential -- so they can fit into different settings.

I have going on a hundred painted miniatures for this, I think.  Hundreds more waiting to be done.
I got a little over enthusiastic and now it is too late to turn back!  So I keep buying more and friends who started similar projects and gave up have donated their collections to me.  It's becoming a lifetime project.

I just picked up Pulp Alley rules to see how I can fit Dredd into them.  I have the Mongoose Dredd rules and they look good and fun, but Pulp Alley is focused on telling action-adventure stories and that goes in line more with what I think of Dredd.

I keep telling myself I need to start on terrain.
