Hello.
Here I am going to post my fantasy figures that does not fit any other place.

First some were jackals. I wanted them to be werewolves but after I painted them brown I decided they looked more like were jackals and took the opportunity to use the new dry earth technical paint from gw for their bases.

Here are some orcs in my growing non-warhammer orc army.
From the left the ones are a Ral partha chaos empire swords man. Forlorn hope half orc. Wargames factory orc and at last a Games Workshop lotr orc.

Poor GW lotr orc got his face coverd in the last picture so here he is again besides a conversion I made for my orc boss.
The bright light makes the shaded areas of the boss orc "gleam" much more than he looks in the real world.

Here is a clay golem. Again the shading I used on the figure gleams more in the sunlight than it does in real life. I am pretty happy with this guy Although I are not sure about the corrosion I used on his face.

The clay golem looks really great, as do the rest of your figures.

I got so good response and was so happy with my Beast from the woods conversion back in the day, so I decided to make some more!
Went with just wetbrushing this time. Dont know if I maybe should use some shadeing?

If you ever feel tempted to buy a "Underground terror worm" creature as a miniature but can really bring yourself to do it because you dont want to spend 20 pounds + on what is essentially a tube with teeth, then I recommend you pick this guy from the bones line. Cheap easy to paint and detailed figure. I really liked it and its useful for all kind of scenarios and settings.

Remember these little guys? I dont really think of them as oldhammer but the models are getting up in years. The metal figures were a joy to paint and took to details really well. I dare say they are better than the plastic ones. Especially the newest plastics.

Love those old metal Ungors! A joy to paint, I agree. The current plastic ones have an unappealing aspect about them that I can't quite define. They don't have the charm of the old metal ones.

The dark blue skin works well. "Children of darkness", like. Good job!

Always liked the ungor models of that era...now that you mention it, while I just acquired ratmen, I have no beastmen with which to occupy my dungeon!  Disaster!

I think the metal figures just are a better material when which used correctly can have a deeper level and more intricate details.
The new plastic ungors are a bit to big, have to much crap all over them taking away from their "genericness". And the result is that the whole surface of the figure is flatter. Just my opinion. The plastic ungors are still good figures. Infact I am converting two of them right now into generic devils.
But the first little ungors are still the best sculpts.
