WWII Question
« on: November 17, 2008, 03:54:19 PM »
I have several WWII era civilian vehicles and need to know what color the license plates in Germany during WWII were and how they were printed.  I am putting together a German town and would like to make it as accurate as possible and day to day stuff like the color of license plates, fire hydrants and stuff like that are hard to find.  Also, I know that private ownership of cars and trucks was rare during that time and gas was even more rare for the civilian but what where some gas station names back then?  Where there such things or was fuel purchased via government depot or something like that.  Any other day to day life details that might be common in most German towns that might be interesting let me know as well

Thanks,
Brian
