I know... But they looked like so much fun to paint...

I just got to figure out how to paint em- not too many color photos of these guys... Wearing too much black might be a shame for some of these minis (they are fun)

Dark blues, purples, reds or greens. Something to make the pallid flesh pop.
Use, or reverse, the colours you used for your cultists on a couple of them.

Just finished first coat of purple on black...

Had some time to think- These guys are not too bad...

I needed a model for a ghoul king- they could count as ghouls easily. Night Stalker. Terrible Old Men, Cult Leaders, Exc...

I could easily see another statline in the future for 10pt Vampires- as vampires in how they appear in lore would often be several in number and likely ugly pale corpses.

Let us not forget that Lovecraft is grounded in New England Folklore- like poor ol Mercy Brown.

It is still remarkably common in New England to hear stories. I live on cape cod; only last year they accidently exhumed a grave of a "Vampire" while working on a new building near Plymouth. The head removed was placed on the chest, arms crossed and the remains of a railroad spike in the torso.

Such events were not too far removed from Lovecrafts time.

Skin turned out ok... Purple coat was nice but is it somthing I should repeat? Go Green next time or Experment?

You're vampire looks good. Try scarlet or blood red, I know it's an obvious choice but it always looks good on vamps.
