Thanks! :D
It's nice to paint some fantasy figures for a change (something I haven't done for twenty-odd years).

The last lot of figures before my first game on Friday!

A marksman (centre), two crossbowmen and a pair of infantrymen.

Really nice! I love those kits. My favourite is the guy at back right with the spear - really characterful.

Now I've painted some figures, it's time for some treasure for them to search for!

Nice additions. Good idea hacking chunks of 'statue' off to give that ruined aspect to them. Now rethinking using old metal figures for mine - would be much easier to 'ruin' plastics. Thanks for sharing

Thanks, hopefully they haven't been ruined too much by the quick paintwork!

Great job on the treasure chests.
Might have to get me some of those.

Nice work, jp - atmospheric. I've recently found that some "gift-shop" figures that my wife saw in a charity shop and bought on the off-chance I could use them make quite good statues. They are in stilted poses and different enough from wargames figures to look like statues. I mounted most of them on stacked plastic bases of decreasing sizes and they don't look too bad.

Unfortunately, most of them are no good for fantasy... :(

I've purchased some Loka Chess sets for a bargain (6 euros for 18 pieces)

They'll make great statues, and possibly even wandering monsters etc.

Played my first two games of Frostgrave last week, and have got around to writing up the first one - a 'standard' game.

You can read the narrative at My first game - we had a blast!
Here's a link to my batrep - http://frostgravery.blogspot.co.uk/2015/11/thaddeus-first-foray-into-frostgrave.html but here are some photos...
