great looking board.

proper looking skirmish set-up, that.
Thanks - glad you like it :)

You mean we are supposed to game with all this stuff after we’ve painted it? Why didn’t anyone tell me?  ;) :D

Great thread JP, enjoyed going back to the start again
Scandalous isn't it?  lol Cheers!

Can't believe the class painting and scenery. Beautiful painting and palette selection. Brilliant!
Why thanks!  :D

You know when a seemingly easy modelling project takes way longer than it should to complete and the results are nowhere near as good as you’d hoped?

So you end up slapping on a coat of paint and saying ‘bugger it, that’ll do’? Oh, and you can’t even be bothered to take decent photos?

Here are some display cases for the Relic Room scenario from Maze of Malcor (approximately 6" long, 1" wide and 1" tall as per spec).

They do look the part.  Nice job all around.

Well, you get stuff finished. There's that.

I finally had the courage to pick up my brush again and half my paint had dried up. And let's not even begin with the pile of crap I have lying around with which I WISH I did something scenery-wise.

But anyways, while I guess I see what you mean, they do look fine. They have a dusty look, which is good for a city left alone for a long time, and I am guessing you wish to play with them too, so making them detailed for detail's sake is just going to make them less playable. I think you struck a fine middle ground.

Thanks Daniel. As usual I'm probably being too critical, and as you say, at least they're done!

It was indeed a good afternoon, even if some players had appalling dice rolling and walked straight up to the opposing warband and got a right kicking.

It also exposed by sad level of knowledge of stat lines for all sorts of soldiers. :-D
