Wow, I completely forgot that CP Models had a 28mm range. For some reason they seemed like just a 1/72nd company to me. That thing looks like some cartoon cat creature out of a weird kid's show that thought real life puppets was a good idea.

...Or its just a gribbly monster. Its late here. Heh, the paint job's fine regardless. :)

Thanks!

And now the second in this three part scenario. Chronomancer Aeon Flixx experiences the dreaded Time Rot.

I am sure it can be found somewhere, but can you tell me where you got that gaming mat from? It looks perfect!! The way your scenery pieces work with the mat is exactly what I want.

Now for the third and final part of the trilogy. It's time to face the might of Ambronnax!

Love the batrep. That table looks awesome! Crammed with terrain... You're playin' this game right. Also great name choice for the Chronomancer, heh.

It's not the most original name, but it suffices :)

The weather’s been too nice for hobby stuff recently, but I have found time to paint up a bunch of bits from last year’s Mantic Terrain Crate Kickstarter, which came up with the goods recently...

Well done! That's quite a lot of extra small pieces of terrain for your tabel and they all fit Frostgrave really well 8) What kind of plastic does Mantic use for these pieces of scenery? What did you think of the quality of the pieces?

Thanks!
They're made of a soft-ish plastic, not unlike the Reaper Bones material. The vast majority of the pieces needed no prep, but a couple of bits were bent, which suited me as they're supposed to be ruined!
Apparently they can be straightened by immersing in hot water and then rapidly cooling.

As a follow up to JP's comment, the pieces come in a variety of plastics, mostly the softish stuff he had, but there is some terrain that's quite hard plastic/resin.

I will photo the range I think before I paint more stuff.

The quality is all good, and as JP notes what is bent can be re-worked easily enough.
