WOW! Sooo fantastic and sooo original. That's such a breath of fresh air and loads of fun. None of the grim dark, mega city style in that. Cracking! :-*

There's also just tons and tons possibilities. The directions you could take this.....

Good luck!

My only criticism is that you didn't take enough pictures.  The scale of those buildings is impressive, and everything ties together so well.  It's clear that you had a coherent vision and were able to stick to it.

Again thanks everyone for your enthusiasm. Your input keeps me motivated and tells me that I am on the right road. Currently I am building the rural regions of the colony as well as the two armies involved. I should be done the rural board by month's end and I will post it here. I am including a few more pictures for now. There is a mix of damage and undamaged buildings due to the story that the invaders want to preserve the infrastructure for their own colonization. They only need to shoot enough to terrorize and drive the population into the wilderness or destroy what little arm defenders there are (police).

One addition, these buildings were built in isolation of any gaming. It is probably best to keep buildings in muted colours with small strips of brighter colours. It can be hard to see the figures on the board let alone their paint job with all the competing stimuli. Lastly here is two more picture of the city.

Stunning. I can see what you mean about the colours, but on the other hand it becomes a feast for the eyes, and the visual impact of a table of this calibre isn't to be denied.
