Thank you everyone for the compliments and encouraging comments. My plan is to complete two theme boards this year. Hoping to have a big food farm completed by the end of May and a mine complex in the fall. Presently, I am trying to learn the Konflict 1947 rules as well as adapt new strange units to these rules.
Meanwhile, here is a photo of the last game played. The Aliens are making their final move. It was a quick game because Earth lost their heavy equipment quickly and had to retreat. Contrast this to a previous game where the aliens were butchered to one squad. The aliens being unforgiving types, transformed the ex-commander’s body into liquid goo!

I agree, it's taken to the next level from being static (but beautiful) to dynamic (but chilling). I'm liking it.

The present Future is built upon the strong bones of man’s dauntless efforts to explore and dominate outer space. Long dead astronauts, defunct space programs and faded star charts, have helped build the foundations of every colony as certain as the plastic struts used for shoring. Newly discovered relics from this past are surprisingly robust. Often they can be reemployed after minor refurbishing.

Both invaders and earth men appreciate the strategic importance of maintaining intact the Colony’s infrastructure. The local war cannot be executed well if served by a supply line stretching over several months of space travel. Furthermore, a successful consolidation post victory requires that atmosphere, water, food and power are regularly supplied on a massive scale. Yet on several occasions, field commanders have levelled farms, destroyed bridges/roadways and factories in their zest to destroy the enemy.
