Boot hill all the way!

Plus they produce an excellent pack that includes some napping Mexican soldiers... lol

Just do it!

Cheers,

Ebay your Perry stuff and use the cash to buy Boot Hill  :D

Got to agree, and forget about using 1860s Confederates for 1830s Texians - it would take an enormous amount of conversion work.   o_o

Here are some comparative shots.
Sorry for the quality and figures chosen but i think you can get an idea of scale mix.

First shot - Boot Hill, Foundry, Artizan
Second shot - Foundry, Redoubt, Foundry (AWI and ACW perrys are just the same size of this one).

Thanks for going to the effort of doing this mate, these will come in handy.

It seems pretty clear that Boot Hill is the way to go for the Texan War of Independence, but wanting to save
some money myself and not being too worried about historical accuracy (ducks head). I might just do some modelling
on what I have for the time being and see what I can come up with. Sorry to disappoint lads but your opinions were very much
appreciated and I've been very tempted by Boot Hills offerings.

As a compromise please post photos showing what you have converted in due course, I would love to see what you come up with. ;D

Do please place the converted miniatures here.
Always curious in what people do. :)

Love those "napping" Mexicans.
Are they based on some of Malamute's friends? ;) lol
Seriously, this range are the best figures by far for the period.
