Another SAGA GoT project - UD 27 Jan - Finished Clegane Cavalry

Hello guys!

A group of friends organized a SAGA tournament and invited me to play. Unfortunately I do not love the ancient setting...they said I can use proxy for the warband I choose, so I decided to play a Clegane - Lannister warband using Capetingian Frank rules.


My 7pt pool, main target, is:

- The Mountain Who Ride - WL (mounted)
- a "priest" (need an idea for this...) (m)
- Clegane HG (4) (m)
- Clegane HG (4) (m)
- Lannister W with crossbow (8 ) (on foot)
- Lannister W (8 ) (of)
- Clegane W (8 ) (of)
- Lannister L with bows (12) (of)
- Lannister Standard Bearer (1) (of)

This one is kinda of a quick project, so I' always searching for a simple and effective scheme for both modelling and painting...
Cleganes are a little exception...I wanted them to be the Mountain's cruel fellows, and so I tried to convert them to have that look...

Thank you very much Captain. I really appreciated your words, especially considering that this project was heavily inspired by your "Westeros with Captain Blood" and the "Captain Blood's Perry Mounted Men At Arm" threads.

Base colors plus washes...they only need highlights and basing and I will have finished the 2nd SAGA point

The Lannister Lads look SPLENDID...GREAT WORK with the brush & the basing. VERY WELL DONE!

Do you have the Perry light cavalry set? There is a head on there that would be PERFECT for a Clegane soldier.... A real ugly face in an open sallet, a really nasty piece of work.
