If you haven't seen these figures I would strongly recommend taking a look and jumping onboard the kickstarter. I also bought an army (Early Persian) in the first kickstarter and can attest to the high quality of the figures and scenery pieces.

Also, I would like to point out that I am a complete moron, and did an order outside the kickstarter, and could have done much better by far by pledging. Man, am I STUPID.

I missed the first KS but have since got a couple of blisters, excellent quality.

There is also going to be a rule set, sounds interesting from the teasers so far.

We spoke to Andy Cooper and Antony Spencer a few weeks ago for the next Meeples and Miniatures podcast and they rules do sound very interesting

I'm also thinking of using some of the new figures in this KS for Aurelian when it comes out

Saw the beta test of the rules at Pudsey - they look good (and playable).

Figures are excellent.
I've seen pics of Sassanids already mastered, they look good (especially the barded horses)

No doubt these are or will be excellent figures, judging by previous purchases from FiB. And there are surprisingly few good options for 2nd, let alone 3rd century Romans in 15mm.
Unfortunately, the step-up from the basic pledge level to the next higher one seems a bit steep to me. Maybe I'm just a cheap-skate.

So I pledged, and someone backed out, so I got the Early Bird. Yay for me!

I intend to use Hail Caesar, probably with the early lists and the Germania supplements to bring it all together.
